What I Do
I am a Firefighter/Paramedic and have been on the job for 17 years. I started my career as a Firefighter/EMT Basic in 2001 and became a Paramedic in 2003. I carry a certification by the National Registry of EMT’s and the Texas Department of Health as a Paramedic. I am also a certified American Heart Association BLS Instructor. I have years of field experience working on a 911 emergency ambulance and have responded to all sorts of emergencies. I worked as a Tactical Paramedic on a SWAT team for 2 years (2007-2009) where I received specialized paramedic training and was on a highly trained team. I was also a certified Police Officer and worked as a reserve officer from 2009-2011. I have gotten several unit citation awards for exemplary performance as a paramedic on the job.
As you can see I have experience in many different public safety fields and would love to bring my experience to your classroom. I have performed CPR in the field on numerous occasions as a Paramedic and I can use my experience to help you. I know what it takes to provide quick, effective, quality CPR and would love to teach you to be successful in case you are ever faced with a life saving situation.
